She was a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University, USA. She is the course lead of two national first-class online courses: Teaching Applications of Mind Mapping and How People Learn. She presides over the construction of the undergraduate program of Educational Technology, a National First-Class Major. Meanwhile, she acts as the person-in-charge of the Guangdong Provincial Virtual Teaching and Research Section for Information-Based Thinking Training, as well as the lead of the Expert Team Studio of Du Yuxia (Guangdong) on the National Smart Education Platform. |

She specializes in Educational Technology and holds a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies from the University of Minnesota, USA. She is a tenured associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University, and serves as a mentor at the "Arts + X" Center, the Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Innovation Center, and Chu Kochen Honors College. Dr. Ouyang possesses an interdisciplinary academic background encompassing Education, Computer Science and Technology, Software Theory, and Information Technology. Her research interests are in the areas of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), Learning Analytics (LA), Educational Data Mining (EDM), and Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIEd), as well as online and blended learning. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers. She also serves as an editorial board member for several SSCI/SCI-indexed journals and as a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). She was awarded the Elsevier China Golden Open Access Scholar Award for Highly Downloaded Papers (2021-2022, Humanities and Social Sciences and Economics), Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2024 by Stanford University. |
